Good tools make for safe treatment

We have chosen equipment that gives an accurate diagnosis, asks as little of you as possible and helps the dentist follow up the result. This applies to everything from X-rays and scanning to the treatment chair.

Digital X-rays with a low radiation dose

For panoramic images of the whole mouth we use digital X-ray (OPG). When the dentist needs to see teeth, jaws and the nasal cavity in three dimensions, 3D X-ray (CBCT) is available.

Modern digital technology keeps radiation as low as possible. In addition, every treatment room has an X-ray unit for individual teeth, so images can be taken during the treatment itself.

Scanning and implant stability

Two instruments that make treatment more precise and more comfortable.

Intraoral scanner

With the scanner we get a digital 3D model of your teeth and gums straight away, instead of traditional impressions with impression material. It is gentler, especially if you have a strong gag reflex. The model is also more accurate, which matters for crowns and clear aligners, and it can be sent directly to the dental technician.

Penguin RFA

Penguin RFA measures how stable an implant is and how well it has fused with the jawbone. The measurement is contactless and does not hurt. The dentist gets objective evidence of when the crown can be fitted, which is especially important with early or immediate loading and for patients at higher risk.

Treatment units from Stern Weber

Our Stern Weber treatment units have built-in X-ray equipment and an intraoral camera. This means examination and treatment can take place in one spot, quickly and with good precision.

The units are designed so that both you and the dentist can sit and work comfortably.
