Orthodontics for when teeth are out of place

A faulty bite is not only about appearance. It can put extra strain on the jaw joints and sometimes cause headaches, and contribute to problems in the mouth. That is why we recommend K-Clear, a modern way to correct the bite.

Orthodontics with K-Clear aligners

K-Clear is a series of transparent aligners that move the teeth step by step. These are the advantages:

Almost invisible
The aligners can only be seen up close.
Easy to care for
You can take them out, rinse them in warm water and brush the inside with a toothbrush.
Predictable
The result is modelled when the aligners are made, so we know in advance how it will turn out.
High quality
All aligners are made at a laboratory in Germany.

The final cost does not exceed the average cost of braces in Stockholm.

How orthodontics with K-Clear works

Treatment begins with a thorough examination. The aligners are made only once your mouth is ready.

  1. Examination

The dentist examines your mouth. If teeth, gums or wisdom teeth need treatment, it is done first.

  2. Photos and impressions

We take photos, an orthopantomogram (panoramic X-ray) and impressions of your teeth and send them to K-LINE.

  3. Planning and manufacture

Orthodontists plan and build 3D models of the result. The aligners are made in Germany.

  4. Your aligners and check-ups

You receive your aligners and we adjust them if needed. Regular check-ups follow the progress.

Common questions about orthodontics

Can’t find the answer? Call us on 08-650 10 60.

How long does the treatment take?

Usually between 8 months and 2 years, depending on how complicated the case is. The first changes are noticeable after 2–3 months of regular use.

How long do I need to wear the aligners?

At least 18–22 hours a day. You only take them out when you eat and brush your teeth.

How many aligners do I need?

It varies. The whole treatment can require 5–30 sets, and you change them at intervals of 2 weeks to 3 months. All sets are included in one price.

Is K-Clear suitable for everyone?

The dentist decides at the check-up. Tartar and cavities need to be treated first. The treatment is not suitable with advancing gum disease (periodontitis), jaw abnormalities, a tooth that has not come through, severe loss of bone tissue, serious neurological diseases or serious somatic diseases.

How do I care for the aligners?

They are removable and easy to clean. Rinse them in warm water and brush the inside with a toothbrush.
